RiverLink is warning customers about fraudulent text messages impersonating our tolling service. These messages claim to represent RiverLink and include a suspicious link.
Text messages, similar to the screenshot shown, claim to represent RiverLink, and fraudulently warn customers of unpaid tolls. Messages also indicate fees will be incurred if payment is not sent immediately.
If you receive one of these texts, do not click the link. Instead, check your account directly at RiverLink.com or call our customer service team at 1-855-RIV-LINK.
If you have provided any personal information, contact your bank immediately. You can also report this to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) at www.ic3.gov, including the phone number where the text originated, and the website listed within the text.
You can also forward the suspicious message to 7726 (SPAM) to alert your mobile provider.
