RiverLink is alerting customers about fraudulent text messages currently circulating in the market. These messages impersonate tolling agencies nationwide, warning customers of unpaid tolls and indicate fees will be incurred if payment is not sent immediately.
If you receive one of these texts, do not click the link. Instead, check your account directly at RiverLink.com or call our customer service team at 1-855-RIV-LINK. Recipients are encouraged to delete any fraudulent texts they may receive.
If you have provided any personal information, contact your bank immediately. You can also report this to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) at www.ic3.gov, including the phone number where the text originated, and the website listed within the text.
You can also forward the suspicious message to 7726 (SPAM) to alert your mobile provider.
