RiverLink has been alerted of an SMS (text message) based phishing scam, fraudulently claiming to represent different tolling agencies across the country. RiverLink is advising our customers to be aware of the potential threat. If you receive a text detailing a specific outstanding toll amount, do not click on any links, but proceed to check your account at RiverLink.com, or reach out to our customer service team at 1-855-RIV-LINK (1-855-748-5465).
If you believe you have received a fraudulent text, customers are encouraged to do the following:
File a complaint at www.ic3.gov, including the phone number where the text originated, and the website listed within the text.
Log into your account at RiverLink.com, the official website of the Ohio River Bridges, to confirm your account status.
Delete any received fraudulent text messages
If you have clicked on any of the links, or provided any information through one of these texts, take immediate action to secure your personal information and financial accounts, including disputing any unfamiliar charges.
